Hello all

Just got a negative test result from the CMC Varidad centre in Cartagena and flying back to the UK on Saturday.

I noticed that the certificate emailed to me has my full name, passport number, date of test, result of test and my age on it - but not my date of birth.

Did I hear that someone was refused entry on the plane because it needs the date of birth as well or should the info on it be fine?

Cheers for quick responses as I'll have to go back to Cartagena tomorrow if it needs the D.O.B details!

Just got back from Covera to Manchester last night to the lovely rain!!

Ryanair asked to see antigen tests just showed them the forms and they didn’t check them, they just looked at the top one!! 4 of us came back.Just wanted to see we had them. Along with our passenger locator forms of which they checked the name only.

They don’t have time to scrutinise everyone’s paperwork they rely on your honesty.

If your passport details are correct then your date of birth is on the passport to verify  so I wouldn’t worry.

The GOV website states it can have “Date of Birth” or “Age” on.

We flew back to the UK on Tuesday, mine had just my “Age” on and I had no problem.

That's pretty much what happened to me as well - got through to gate 5 departure with only boarding pass & passport checks - then Ryanair came out and just looked at the antigen test certificates. All they did was match up the passport numbers and moved on! Must have spent 5 seconds in total checking mine and the missus...

Got back into the UK on 31st July and it's bloody rained everyday since!

Thanks for the prompt reply it was much appreciated!

Cheers Sunny!

Had a look on the gov website after your reply and felt a lot more relaxed!

The Ryanair staff spent only a couple of seconds checking the passport number matched up to the antigen certificate - don't think they even looked at the age!

Many thanks for the prompt reply - was much appreciated!

No problem, glad it worked out for you, next time round will be a lot easier knowing the system, unless of course the goal posts move again.

Let’s hope for the better very soon
