Covid-19 query
I was in LA in July and I'm returning on September 26h. All I wan't to know is whether or not the covid-19 restrictions have changed in the past month and, if they have, what are they now?
Thanks
Ann

Thanks for that. Not much change since my late July visit. I read yesterday, however, that over 65s are recommended to stay at home! Can anyone confirm whether it is a recommendation or compulsory, please? If the latter, I'll stay at home, in Stafford! It infuriates me that over 65s, many of whom are extremely healthy - me included and I'm 76 - may have to isolate because others have broken the rules.

Yes it’s a recommendation but only over 65s are spending any money at the moment so not sure how that will work!!! Just come and enjoy!!!!

Hi all
Just jumping in here as i'm coming over with my father for an initial 3 month stay from November. We were wondering about the mask wearing situation - is it true you have to wear a mask everywhere? Even walking down the street? I am personally exempt from wearing one due to a breathing problem but try my best to make the effort when and where I can.
Any info would be great as it may effect our decision to come unfortunately.
thanks so much
Yes you have to wear a mask everywhere.
As of today's date that is, who knows what the rules will be in November.
I know one or two people that are exempt from wearing a mask, they get some very nasty looks from people at times.
In fact one lady I know will not go out at all during the day because of this.
