OMG haven't had such a laugh in ages - Nicola for PM ho ho ho ho

Perhaps read my post rather than putting your spin on it. I just happened to mention she had been been a bit more honest and humble, rather than the majority that have appeared on our TV screens in the past few months.

No mention of her for PM.

Zacdog

I am certainly no 'leftie', having voted conservative all of my life and supported Brexit, however the current UK  leadership (if that's what you like to call it) is woeful and beyond belief.

Tell me when you last heard anything useful coming out of Boris's mouth? About the same time you heard anything useful or sensible from Trump. (I'll look out for that blue moon tonight!)

You make the claim that Nicola Sturgeon waits for Boris to talk, then spins it in a different way. Quite ironic, given the Boris / Donald relationship!

She has made completely different decisions to Dominic (sorry Boris) and has continued to provide clear and detailed instructions, whether the Scots like it or not.

She has also shown humility, stating that errors and mistakes have been made, unlike the namby pampy rudderless supposed UK leader, who just doesn't have a clue! I was certainly not advocating Sturgeon for PM - all i stated was that from what I had seen, she has been the most up front and honest politician over the past 3 months.

If you truly believe that Boris / Dominic and all their cronies have handled this as true statesmen, then you are obviously beyond help!

I will get on with my life in Spain and hopefully make some visits to my home country in the coming years, assuming there are no quarantine requirements!

Very confused and embittered Expat, emphasis on the 'Ex' bit.

Are you Zacdog? Perhaps I can enlighten you!

All you need to do is ask and I will try to help you.

Fyi - another leader who has shown true grit, responsibility and proper leadership - Spain's Perdro Sanchez, who doesn't have the benefit of a huge majority in his parliament. (I guess that's why Bungling Boris can treat the people he is supposed to serve as inconsequential!)

In no way could I be enlightened by one as confused and embittered as you. Go find a protest march, you'll feel much more at home.

Had Corbyn done the right thing and resigned earlier we'd have Starmer and the Tories wouldn't have such the huge majority. By the way, I voted LibDem - anyone remember them???
