Strange that you are only now sorting out converters when you must have been driving around here for 3 months without them....but more positively we struggled to buy ones for our Spanish car when we went to the UK for a visit - to convert from lhd to rhd, and eventually had to buy them on the ferry, so think very few Spanish motoring shops will cater for rhd to lhd ones.

Your best bet is probably amazon.es, but check very carefully which way they convert!

Try here: https://www.amazon.es/AA-Car-Essentials-Reflector-conversor/dp/B001PPDNHG/ref=sr_1_8?__mk_es_ES=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&keywords=car+headlamp+converter&qid=1638627392&sr=8-8&tag=cstareg0f-21

strange yes.... but not as strange as some of the old tv show ' The Twilight Zone' or The Outer Limits '

We brought a spare convertor kit with us but gave them as a favour to an English couple who went back

last month... we assumed wrongly that the Europeans drive to the UK as much as we drive over here but

we found out to our cost that is not the case .

the world is a funny place.

gracias

I don't think Europeans driving in the UK give a toss about blinding oncoming traffic! Living close to the largest port in the UK, it's astonishing how many trucks have inappropriate lighting, but they get away with it.

In the Uk I buy mine off ebay, and they work to convert both LHD and RHD lights, search 'headlight converters'

My boss used to travel from UK to France about twice a month, he did not bother with diverters, but used masking tape to block the offending light.

If you don't drive at night you don't need them, I plan my trip's to avoid night driving up and down through France and Spain.

All very well until you have a breakdown or a big traffic jam...the least you can do is lower the headlamp beams with the dashboard control.

To date I have not had a breakdown on trips up or down, and for my comfort driving hours are limited hours, and we do not drive in the peak holiday periods, we see more on that way and a benefit of being retired.

The only hold ups have been accidents and that only rarely, masking tape does a more certain job than lowering your headlights as it can be set to do the same as a converter, and can replace a lost converter.
