Oh dear me colouredman, such faux anger, or is it real?  Perhaps you would prefer if we all simply called people racists to agree with you and your view? Lets be honest here, women in burkas do look like black letter boxes, it is a fact.  Furthermore, in my opinion, and that of many more Europeans, the Burka should be banned. so your sweeping comment that  his comments are 'fairly universally regarded as constituting racist statements' is groundless.  Please also note that I have no interest in your nickname but I do find it odd, as previously mentioned, in this day and age.   Before you start calling me racist please note that I have travelled the globe and worked in no fewer than 20 Countries, living in 5 of them for a number of years including the Middle East.   I have enjoyed a long and eventful life and number many different peoples of various races as friends.  I just happen to believe that the UK would be better off out of the corrupt EU, the latest 'election' of the various EU Presidents behind closed doors, has firmed up that opinon, and also believe that Boris is the man for the job.

This discussion has got out of hand. Boris & Donald - Hair over substance.

Ex pats in Spain are more concerned about their rights, healthcare etc, after no-deal Brexit.

This all depends on reciprocal rights being given to Spanish residents in UK.

So far there's no sign of any legislation to allow for this. This is worrying. Promises won't wash.

Anyway, look on the bright side. Trade deals with US will take many years, when Trump will be irrelevant and Congress more disposed towards UK.

Difficult to disagree with any of that: the drive to leave the EU was because the UK politicians were not competent at getting changes to the admittedly flawed EU, and have been happy to lie and misrepresent to drag some of the electorate with them.
