Airport drop off

Can anyone tell me if you have to pay for parking when dropping someone off at the airport ?

If you mean Alicante airport you get 10 minutes parking free when dropping off in the appropriate place. You still get a ticket on entry however if you exit within 10 minutes there is no charge.

Thanks Alan, sorry should have said San Javier, still useful for future reference thanks.
At San Javier you can drop off for free, keep to the right and don't go through the car park barrier. Once under the barrier you have to pay, but it's only about 75 cents if you are there a short time
