As a fairly new property owner I would just like to ask a question regarding community charges please.

Mine work out around 41€ per month for a 3 bed apartment with a lift. There are no gardens or pool to maintain and it is not on a gated community.

Does this seem a little expensive or is this an average cost ?

Thanks in advance

Ours are 120 euros a quarter, 40 a month. 2 bed apartment, with lift and swimming pool. Bearing in mind there is communal electricity, fire prevention systems, cleaning, repairs, admin, community insurance etc to pay for, I think it is reasonable. So I would think that yours is pretty good. Anyone on a gated complex with 24 hr security etc would be paying a lot more.

I think thats ok ...you’re paying for lift maintenance, lighting and cleaning of communal areas and contracts for all of these. Presume there is some sort of entry system so there is some security too.
