I have lived in Los Alcatarzes for 6 years & disgusted to say I can't speak Spanish. I have many words but that's it. I have had 2 attempts @ learning it but only a couple of sessions as terminal illness in the family was a priority.  I feel it is an insult to the Spanish for not speaking their language. I have an MSc in nursing, surely grasping Spanish is not out of my reach. Thank you.

Hi all, does anybody know of a personal trainer & has anybody used one. If so I would welcome your advice & ways to contact them. Thank you, keep safe.

Have you tried 'Spanish with Paul' on YouTube? There are numerous free lessons there. If it works for you you can buy his comprehensive internet course. If it doesn't, it hasn't cost you anything - except a bit of time!

Thank you for your swift reply. I will give it a determined go. 6 months I will be speaking fluent Spanish. I have to do it. Well I am living in Spain.

Good luck. I manage to speak a bit of Spanish but understanding it is another thing entirely! The Murcian accent/dialect can be very challenging.

I'm using memrise app and duolingo

Once your 3 hearts are gone in duolingo  you can earn some more for free.

Duo is giving me a good grounding on verbs  and memrise giving me an ear hopefully for the lingo with their videos

Good luck
