I got my NIE from the Spanish Consulate in London. They have one in Scotland too. Dead easy. Cost me less than £10, plus a return train ticket, with the bonus of a lovely day out!

Amelia did you have to make an appointment or just turn up?? Also what sort of paper work did you have to take with you?? Thanks in advance

We have used I S Solicitors at La Torre, very pleased with them.  We did not use them for NIE as that was ages ago but very pleased with the preparation of our wills.

I made an appointment online, downloaded the forms from the Consulate website, and took the documents on their list. Nothing onerous and they didn't actually want to see it all. 18 months ago now .... I don't know whether it's changed with all the kerfuffle.

Hiya

We used Paco at Services solutions for NIE, wills and house purchase.

Paco and his team speak English and Paco is a Proffesor of Law at Murcia University.

There is a Notary across the road in Santiago de Ribera and we also have him POA for setting the utilities up.

Cannot recommend enough. Alsonwas a fixed fee.
