Morning everyone, we are staying in the area for 3 months from mid February with a view to possibly purchasing a property.

We are hoping to gather some advice on do's and dont's and which areas are good and if there are any we should avoid.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

We have flights booked for beginning of March for about a week and are looking for somewhere in Los Alcizares to stay for a few days ( as yet don't have anywhere booked ) we're hoping to narrow down our search to an area within or around LA so like you are keen to find out areas to avoid or any tips etc to help with our search so will be keen to see any replies you receive. I hope it all goes well for you :)

Hi Triciamc131/andy1956

We bought a Villa from groupo uno in lo pagan/Santiago de la Ribera. We completed early Jun this year. We are renting it out. So if you need somewhere to stay. I'm really happy with the area being so close to the beach and airport. The Villa is also great, even with all my snagging problems. If I can help you with any questions please feel free to contact me.

Thanks Kay47 but we have already sorted accommodation. We may be in touch if we don't find anything suitable to purchase.

Rent a property first and have a good look around. It will depend on what you are looking for, are you wanting Spain and all it involves or England in the sun

Try a run down to Aguilas it's a Spanish holiday resort and fishing port, have been here six months and love it and rentals are cheap
