los alcazares

I currently live in a small town,mostly Scandinavian,north of Alicante where I have all the facilities around me which ,now I am retired after spending my life in business in this area,is important.However I want a change & I think the Costa Calida would be ideal  but ,although I shall greatly miss their Nordic culture which they always asked others to join in & be welcome,I am seeking for a small property in this area.Where do I start since I have only ever passed through your area,so just get my info. from sites such as this.However In my business I was aware of Torrevieja area & Costa del Sol,neither is where I want to be.I am a cash buyer,I do not not want to pay for a pool on a holiday complex,but access to a bus & shops is more my priority.Any comments will be helpful
