Salt pools v chlorine pools

We have a salt water pool and love it. The water smells divine and leaves your skin soft. My husband knows about the technical side so if you have any questions, feel free to private message.

I was involved in changing a communal pool from chlorine to saltwater a few years ago.

I have to say that it was probably the best thing we ever did,

The water quality is fabulous & as Tizzyelle say it leaves your skin nice & soft.

Your hair does not go green as it can do if you spend hours in chlorine based pool.

The saltwater is also a lot kinder to the grouting between the pool tiles.

It can also be controlled automatically a lot better.

We love our salt pool too. It is definitely better for your hair and skin and swimwear doesn’t discolour over time (as it often does in chlorine).

Would you mind to advise on the conversion costs?

Watermaids was looking after our communal pools for a few years but they didn't shine very bright and left the pools moulded all around the edges with historical birds droppings around. Maybe lack of demand and control from our side played the role as well but advantage has been taken very quick.

The conversion took place around 8 years ago so the costs would be well out of date.

I can't remember what they were anyway !!
