Property wanted to rent: 2 bedroom- must be central and close to amenities/transport

Hi, I intend to visit from around 22nd July for about a month this year. Los Alcazares is my preference but open to ideas as long as it's not remote and transport links etc are close.

I know it's high season which will limit availability but sadly I have no other option. 

I want to check out the surrounding areas with a view to suitability for a future purchase. 

I am a quiet, non-smoking professional woman, nearing retirement and will be travelling and staying alone but with one week's visit from my son. For those reasons I want a reasonably priced, very safe, centrally placed, furnished property with easy access good transport links and preferably 2 bedrooms. 

I have contacted some agents in the area but with no success. Hoping that someone will be able to help or - if not - perhaps be able to further recommend someone who could.
