I recently posted asking for info on hygienists in P. de Maz but received no reply.

However, I did find a fantastic dentist called Clinica Carmona, more of less opposite Costa Calida estate agents on the main drag. The girl who sorted me out was called Maria and she was absolutely brilliant. Even though It was a little painful, me being extremely sensitive and a complete whimp, she did a very thorough job. It was by far the most comprehensive hygienist session I had ever experienced (they call it teeth cleaning) and she finished off by blasting my teeth with a pink powder. I looked like I had been in a powder puff fight afterwards.

They had quoted me euros 50 the day before but actually charged only 40 euros, so it was not only far better than any similar job in the UK it was nearly half the price.

I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Do you have to be a resident to visit the dentist at those prices? I always feel conned by the dentists in England (previously a dental assistant!) and thought I might try a dentist in Spain. I’m a non resident, but own property in Pto. de Mazarrón.

No...I'm the same as you as I have a property there too which I really only use for Winter warmth. I also investigated having some implants with another dentist on the main drag (the pink fronted one) and was given a free scan (around £300 smackeroons in Britain) and was quoted a third of the price. Let me know how you get on.
