Getting to San Pedro Del Pinitar

Hi,

I will arrive into Alicante airport at around midday on Saturday. Does anyone have any advice on how to get to San Pedro del Pinatar? I wanted to use public transport where possible but the only bus (that I can see) that would work doesn't leave Alicante until 5pm.

Are there any other reliable methods to get here?

I've seen that there is an hourly bus to Torrevieja - considering catching this and then a taxi on to San Pedro. Can anyone give recommendations for a good taxi company?

I wouldn't mind taking a taxi but many of the quotes I have seen seem expensive. Does anyone have a good taxi company and could give a rough estimate of the cost?

The bus service is very scarce so you are better off waiting for the 5pm bus or booking a taxi online.

We have used Armando 034 650472238 he is very reliable and last time which was April he charged €95 from Alicante since then we have flown into Covera and he charged €55

If you get the bus from Alicante to Torrevieja you can then change and get the Bam bus from Torrevieja to San Pedro del pinatar. Depending on the time, but at that time of day you should be ok. Takes about an hour from Torrevieja to San Pedro.
