Hi , this has probably been asked many times before but looking at previous information I have come across a lot is now a bit dated.

We are just in the process of purchasing a house in San Pedro Del Pinatar. I really don’t want to buy a car if I can help it ( trying to be eco friendly)  because I love using a bicycle in resort.  I am trying to find the best / cheapest transport from Alicante airport. Taxi is very expensive, buses seem to be few and far between and the bus company on line sites are confusing because  there appears to be various different companies operating.  So in a nutshell ….

1.  WHAT BUSES COME TO SAN PEDRO FROM ALICANTE AIRPORT (OR EVEN ALICANTE TOWN) AND HOW OFTEN DO THEY RUN?

2.  ARE THERE ANY AIRPORT TRANSFER COMPANIES THAT ARE REASONABLY PRICED?  (AND AN IDEA OF COST IF POSSIBLE)😃.

3. ARE THERE ANY OTHER ALTERNATIVE TRANSPORT SYSTEMS?

A BIG THANK YOU in anticipation of any reply’s offered! Please help😀

Regards

Angie

I use Bambus from the airport to San Javier, flight times allowing. Leaves the Alicante bus station 9am and 12noon, so arrives at the airport 9.10 and 12.10 approx. Its a long journey but only 7.50 euros last time I used it. Other than that, there are buses every 2 hours to Torrevieja (think the last one is arrive 8pm)which only takes about 50mins, and then, bus from there to san pedro is an option. At worst, a taxi from there is around 50euros. Hope this helps.

I think there is a bam bus at around 1700, or there was last time I used it.

To me the trouble with bam bus, is not many flights from gatwick land in time to catch early buses……I think 🤗
