Hi we live in the San Pedro area. We have a solarium and would like to have a couple of pot plants, medium size that would survive the Spanish summers. Can anyone give us some ideas as to what might be suitable. Thanks.

I grow roses which seem to love the Spanish climate. Also other flowers but I don't know the names. I got them from a super plant grower who has a 'stall' on the San Pedro Monday market. If you enter the market from the rough ground 'car park', go to top of first alley and turn left, she is about 50ft on left. A large floor area. The younger woman speaks perfect English and is very good at giving advice if you tell her what you are looking for. I've never been disappointed in the numerous plants I've bought over the years.
