wasp nest

We had two in our back wall and balcony. Got told to get up early ie 6-7 am before it gets hot and while said wasps are still asleep and zap/spray them with Raid and they will all just drop to the floor and die. It really works and is cheaper than getting someone in. Try it!!

The other reply you've received is good advice, but a better time to zap them is after nightfall, say around 10pm. Regards, Colin

And be sensible about your safety - if it needs a ladder to reach the nest, or if your escape route is cluttered/obstructed pay for someone else to risk getting stung. Of course if you react to bites and stings leave well alone.

Definitely late in the evening when it is dark....and use something stronger than RAID if you want to get right into the nest....lots available at Ferreterias and Garden Centres!
