If you are not a resident in Spain where can you get the Covid jab when it becomes available to over 65's in Murcia area but San Pedro in particular? Thanks.

I’d imagine you will get notification of the vaccine via your doctor.....that’s what's happening in England...

Yes notified by your doctor in your country of residence.

If you are not a legally registered resident in Spain you will probably not be getting a vaccination in Spain.

MurciaSalud expects you will receive your vaccination in your country of legal residence.

So you will need to talk to your Doctor in your home town/city..

Thank you everyone. Because of restrictions & other reasons I will need to get it here. I am not registered with a doctor here so does anyone know if I might get one in a private clinic?

Right now I can’t see vaccines being available privately, it would cause a lot of inequality where those who can afford could have the pick of whats availand the disadvantaged disadvantaged ......but I could be wrong and maybe it will be available privately in the future.....if you do find a private clinic administering/selling the vaccine I’d be very interested to hear about it......

You are probably right but I did hear a rumour and will he investigating it. Will let you know what I find. I agree it would seem to he an unfair advantage but many things are unfair in this unequal world.

Found this in another chat...

Brits in Spain We know that some of you are concerned about how you will get the Covid vaccine in Spain, particularly those of you who access healthcare via private health insurance. The Spanish Ministry of Health announced that they would be offering the vaccine to everyone in Spain on public health grounds. It is for the Spanish authorities to determine how and in what order the vaccine rollout is implemented. We are following closely what that will mean for British nationals resident in Spain and we will keep you updated if we have further information. Meanwhile, you can find more information at: https://www.vacunacovid.gob.esSpain operates its health system regionally. You can also check for information from your regional health authority about the vaccination plan in your area:

Yes I agree, it would be completely unfair. I'm not looking to get it ahead of when my age group permits it. I just wanted to know where a non resident can get it if they are not registered with a doctor, but only when it would in turn.  I'm not looking for something I'm not entitled to.  I'm not inclined to go home because the situation there is even worse than it is here which is why I asked the question but thank you for your opinion.
