Hello again!

Another question for you very kind people.

On my 1st electricity bill, I noted 2 monthly payments for the above insurance policy’s.

I assume I have inherited them from the previous owners?

I have contacted Iberdrola about cancelling them, and they replied to my email (in English which is great) asking for my phone number so they can call me to discuss, and sent information about the policy.

Can any one tell me if these policies are worth having?
Electrical Protection €7.07 per month ?

Payment Protection €1.98 per month (Is this compulsory in Spain?)

Thank you for looking Jacquie

This explains what the policies are for.

I would certainly cancel them ASAP but then I am totally against this type of insurance.

108.60 euro per year = lot of money.

Not compulsory at all.

We cancelled the additional with Iberdrola - no fuss, done via e-mail.

An abuse that shouldn't be included in your invoice by default.
