This might sound a strange request but we are thinking of organising our own final trip in this life and would like to ask if anyone has any personal recommendation on funerals, cremations and funeral homes in general. All our family members live in the UK and we don't want to leave them the job of trying to organise our funerals or cremations in a distant country where English is not necessarily spoken, when the time comes. We're not at all religious and do not want to waste our hard-earned money on the type of funeral that some people consider needs to be spent on "giving them a good send-off". We both want a cheap and cheerful cremation with no fuss and absolutely no religious overtones. Cardboard coffins would be a bonus! Has anyone arranged their own cremation/funeral here and could recommend a good company/Tanatorio around San Pedro del Pinatar?
