Medical card
After getting our s1 NIE padron I was told I hadto go to cartegena inss office to get my medical card and be assigned a doctor locally in San Pedro for my family.After several attempts over a period of 10 days I could not get an appointment online (system down ).A friend told me that this can be done online through horiadada council office and it would cost 50 euro each =100 children under 14 don't pay.So after passports NIE padron signatures etc we were told to go and sign for paperwork each this was at the council office and it was a copy for online signature?.we came back and were told to wait for an email to go to the local health centre to get our medical cards.This was 2 months ago?.question is have we been had or is this the spanish way?the interpreter we used for this does 10 mins on a computer and is on more money per hour than the queen.
