Hi
My husband and I are thinking about buying an apartment in either San Pedro Del Pinatar or Lo Pagán.
Honest comments about the two locations would be really appreciated.
Thank you.

Snap! My husband and I are also looking at buying a property in the area and have viewed some villas that we like but would like to know a bit more about the area itself before making a final decision. We currently live in the Canary Islands and so have lived the "Spanish life" for many years but moving to a completely new area, comes with new things to learn and possible obstacles to overcome. I would like to know what sort of percentage of Brits there are permanently living in the town and whether there are areas to avoid buying because of excessive noise or smells (yes, we went up to Sucina to look at a villa and the smell of that part of the countryside was horrible!!) Is the town still alive in the winter or are there places that close down? What sort of level of crime is there in the area? I don't want to hijack your post Tina but hopefully some replies on here might help both of us.

Thanks for the info!
We have had a townhouse for 2 years in Lo Pagan and love it. Lots to do it has a Spanish feel but there are also English restaurants too. There is a fantastic spa hotel big sports arena salt flats at much more.
Best purchase we ever made.
