Hello,

I have just purchased a new home, and was given 2 forms by the builders - one regarding water and the other electricity. Any idea what I need to do with them? I think I need to have the services transferred to my name within 10 days, but I have no idea where I need to go to get this done.

Any help would be most useful.

Thanks, michael

Hi Michael

We purchased a new home in San Pedro a couple of months back and our solicitors set up accounts with a company called Iberdrola for electricity and a company called Aqualia for water.

Not sure whether there are alternative companies you can go with for your electricity and water supplies but might be worth asking the builders or your solicitors what you need to do.

Sorry this is not a definitive answer for you but hope it is of some help.

Thanks

Kind regards

Ryan

Hello Michael

There are Iberdrola and Aqualia office in San Javier very near the town hall, just take your documents to them (they speak some English) and they will transfer to your name and set up direct debits with your bank.

Very easy, you do not need a solicitor but don't forget to take your I.D with you, NIE proof of address ect..

Hope this is of some assistance

Kind regards

Ed
