They CAN use a UK mobile number

Have they got the correct number ?

In the correct format !!

00 44 (0) 123 345

Drop the zero

Have you got international calls blocked ??

Sorry bit of a stupid thing to say if you can't log in to check.

They are definitely NOT up to the same standard as the UK banks as you are finding out.

I got moved to them from Caja Murcia too, but no probs at all.

If you have a friend in spain get them to get you a HITS sim card and post it to you - it's €5 for the sim, and if you register on www.hits.es you can have your account kept open for 12 months for only €5 more - so, for €10 (and a cheap mobile if yours isn't dual sim) you have your spanish mobile number, bank sms and login sorted.

Hope that helps

Being with Sabadell for 3 yrs now. No problems. When we go to the US we give them our US mobile # for code texting. When we return to Spain we let them know and switch to Spanish mobile # for code texting. So far so good.
