Will be bringing our puppy with us in April and was wondering if anyone has used any of the local vets for tapeworm treatment that is needed to return to UK?

Any vet can offer this. If you are leaving Spain via Santander /Bilbao, then use a Spanish vet. If you are travelling from french ports then it is advised to use a vet nearer the port of exit. This is to make sure that your travelling time goes to plan. You have to cross from 24 to 140 hours from tapeworm treatment back into the Uk. Our opinion of Spanish vets is that they are excellent. We have also had good service from several different vets in France.

Thank you - we sail from Bilbao on Tuesday morning so I guess early Monday will be best for vet visit before traveling.
