Does anyone know if you can book a driving theory test direct with DGT without going through a driving school then arrange for the practical test after you pass through a school if needs be etc?

Sadly I believe you will find, as did I, that you have to arrange it all through the driving school. You will also have to take a few driving lessons, not a bad thing as they tend to take you out on the various test routes. Best of luck.
