Can anyone tell me do you need a solicitor all the time as a none resident when I have a bank account and all bills being paid.

Only if you are in the habit of suing people - just like in the UK. Solicitors are like the coronavirus - best kept well away from but tricky to avoid for house sales and nothing else. Do your own taxes and arrange direct debits for car tax and utilities.
