Am I the only one bothered by the almost constant barking of dogs in Spain!

Almost every house whether Spanish or British seem to have at least one mad dog that starts barking at the slightest thing thus setting other dogs in the village off. Don't the owners hear the noise or are they all deaf?

My wife says I take too much notice of them but sometimes it's hard to ignore.

I don't expect anyone to have a solution but a problem shared and all that!

Maybe the owners leave them in the garden when they go out, stopping barking only when they come home so may be blissfully unaware.   Try standing under their bedroom window at 3 in the morning shouting 'hey hey hey hey hey hey!!! Then go back to bed once woken.

Hi there.

My partner and I have a penthouse on CDA.

Below us are residents who we think are permanent, however they have a dog that barks constantly sometimes at unearthly times of the morning.

Recently we found out that during the hours of 12 pm and 7am it's considered a anti social act and owners can be reported to the authorities, firstly we would have to contact our local CDA security, who do come round and warn the owners.

If it continues then you can involve the local police, I can't answer for where you are but its worth looking at what is available to you where you are.

Hope this helps.

G.

Hi, do dog owners here clean up after there dogs crap on pavement. As I have see around camposol commercial area, and other areas, is loads off dog crap, come on owners off dogs, either clean up or get rid off the dog, be a perfect citizen off camposol, and not selfish.

Get up and do something about it as a group, it's the only way to sort these type of people out, don't blame the dogs, they just do what dogs do, if allowed to by 'some irresponsible, lazy and anti social neighbours. I love dogs, I deplore these individuals.

Hi there.

Yes they do, and poop bags are free and are situated along the main walkways.

Also dogs are required to be on leads at anll times when out amongst residence.

Hi Gary,

We know it, they know it, a lot of people are obviously annoyed about the issue.  Take action my man, or suffer-on and keep cussing on here.  Now then..... cats!

Hi.

Why should anyone else take action.

It's surely the responsibility of the owners to be the ones that make sure they do the right thing.

And it's not me complaining if you look at the posts, I think what they do on CDA maybe things  they can adopt elsewhere to help all residence
