Currently looking round Costa Calida for a holiday home and have seen several in Sucina and El Carmoli.

Have found a lot of helpful information about Sucina but very little about El Carmoli and the local area.

Does anyone live or know this area as any information would be useful, some properties for sale in El Carmoli seem very good value but are they cheaper than other Locations for a reason?

Any information much appreciated!

Hi Andy

had friends who rented there and they liked the area. just make sure you don't get a north facing property. although it was cool for July and August from October the property was so cold. they only rented for 8 months and moved be a use of how cold it was.

Hi Andy we have a house on El Carmoli and we love it. It can be a bit quiet out of season. Although there are lots of lovely places to visit. I would say a car is an advantage, if you like walking and cycling it's wonderful for that. Carmoli restaurant is very good we use it very often in the summer nice outside, and cosy in the winter.

The railway at Los Nietos is very good value and I think the best way to go into Cartagena it runs every half hour and is around €1.60 return also a very interesting trip.

Then Alcazares has lovely beaches and waking is good also lots of good restaurants and bars, as well as good supermarkets. I hope you find this helpful.
