Hi, we bought our property in December 2018.  By April nothing had gone out of the bank for this & therefore spoke to Solicitots as they set are direct debits up. In June I paid 26.50e to cover January, February and March but dont know when next one will be taken. Are there set quarterly months that this outgoing usually goes out of your account? Cheers

It will be the same payment amount every 3 months.

So if your first payment went in June, you will see the same DD paid in September, December then March and so on.

Ours has never changed from €26.50.

The first payment was taken in June, however I am not sure whether it should have started in March.

As no payments had been taken for our bank between December 2019 and March 2019,  I contacted our Solicitor as they set up all the direct debits.  They attended at the Town Hall on my behalf and it was after that visit that the payments started in the June.  Not sure if there had been an oversight but payments are on track now.
