I have a large sum of €2 Euro coins. I went to my bank and they won’t take them!! They suggested I contact Prosegur. Can anyone help me with any suggestions. I have been saving them for a couple of years. I used to bank them in the UK. TIA

Ask your bank if they will take a small amount, usually they have a limit and you have to put them in plastic containers which they can provide, you may have to make a few trips but worth asking. If that fails you could Try local bars / shops and see If they would swap some of them for you.

The alternative is to take them to the Banco de España (bank of spain), they will change them for notes. Your nearest one is in Murcia city.
