We have finally arrived at our second home after a year away! Unfortunately the sand rain storms have not been kind and our tiles on the terrace are ingrained and stained. Any ideas on products to clean this?! Thank you

Depending on the type of tiles that you have, you might find that "Agua Fuerte" will remove the stains but be careful, wear gloves, and don't breathe in the fumes, as this is hydrochloric acid and really caustic stuff but does work wonders on all sorts of things from ingrained stains on tiling to unblocking toilets (wear a mask to do this). You can get this in all large supermakets and ferreterías. Pour it on neat, use a long-handled broom to sweep it along, and then hose it all down well afterwards. Keep animals away while you're doing this.

Domti sell a 4litre black bottle for €2 and word of warning, don't let it sit long on grouting as it bites into the cement.
