We drove there yesterday from El Carmoli it took us 30 mins and a good clear run well signed.

But if you need food there's no facility up in the departure lounge only vending machines. There is a costa coffee downstairs. 

Eventually it will be ok when the shops and bars open.

Flew out of there yesterday ( a 3.5 hour delay !! ) but not the airports fault it was a techno on the plane.

The airport is huge & very empty. I walked about for 10 minutes before I saw another passenger in the departure lounge.

There is a massive amount of parking for cars & plenty of 5 minute drop off places.

The public car park is free at the moment as none of the barriers & ticket machines are operational.

Virtually no shops at all & the Duty Free shop is just a sort of a hole in the wall operation.

Drinks & snacks are all in vending machines.

Good news is that a 500ml bottle of water is only 1.00 euro down a massive 65 cents fro San Javier.

Seating after security at the boarding gates is most odd.

Seats for approximately 80 people at each gate yet the average plane holds approximately 180 passengers !!

Have a look at the apron where the planes park.........looks as though somebody painted all the markings in the wrong place & they had to re do them.

Overall impression superb but about 5 years out of date with technology.
