I have a similar problem but find the Olaplex range very good. Be prepared to wait a few weeks for the benefits to kick in, especially if your hair is very dry. Look for numbers 3, 4 & 5 in the Olaplex range. More expensive yes but worth it in the long run. Druni in Dos Mares sell it or Amazon either.
Another tip for dry hair is to massage some Moroccan oil or Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse into wet hair before using a hair dryer. The heat helps get it into the hair shaft. It helps with shine and softness.
A thing to remember about the Olaplex is that the No. 3 item is applied to damp hair before shampooing and needs to be left on for 15 mins. (Longer is better) so you need to allow plenty of time especially if you have long or very thick hair. Then, at the end the conditioner needs to be left for 3 mins. (Again, longer is better) so plenty of time for all that.
Another tip and I offer this as a cost saving benefit, only use the no. 4 shampoo Olaplex for your second wash. A normal cheaper job is fine for the first wash - I got this tip from a hairdresser.
Oh and if you like a nice shine try and find a John Frieda product called Frizz Ease glossing mist (on line, I couldn't find it anywhere in Spain). You spray it on after styling in dry hair. A similar product from Swarzkopf Got2b Plein les yeux spray brilliance is good too (bigger bottle) . Don't use oil in dry hair, it weighs it down.
Good luck but do remember to allow time, especially if your hair is very dry. It could take a few months to see the benefits but definitely worth waiting for. Check out the independent reviews of these products.
Good luck, ai hope it works for you. I'd suggest protecting your hair f on the sun's direct rays as well.
