Hello

We are Mel & Jill aged 54 & 55 and will be retiring to San Pedro as soon as our villa is finished (April hopefully)

Would be nice to meet people who are also in San Pedro for maybe a coffee/beer.

We were originally from London but are now in Hertfordshire but not for much longer 🌞🇪🇸

We last visited on Friday Dec 16th and it didn't stop raining for Four days so blame me I'm a jinx. We are back at the end of February. I must say It's all very exciting this emigration malarkey.

Bye for now folks take care

Hi Mel and Jill,

Debs and I are also moving to San Pedro, Lo Pagan area, with a hopeful completion date of July. We are coming out at the beginning of April for a few days to check it is still being built.

We'd like to get to know a few people and maybe we might help each other with the exciting but probably occasionally problematic issue of starting out in a new country.

We came over at the end of December after the storms you experienced and it did look like it had been hit hard!

Anyway, good luck with your move, hope all goes well.

Pete and Debs

Hello Pete & Debs,

Many thanks for your reply, we are at the moment showing people around our house so Hopefully its sold quickly and we can start the move to San Pedro.

We are back out in Two weeks time and getting quiet excited now as the build is in its final stages. We were hotel bound for Four days in December With the Floods, Quiet an experience.

It would be nice to meet you guys in the future and compare experiences and have a beer of course. I hope your build goes as smoothly as ours has gone, apart from a few minor problems its been very smooth.

Thanks and speak soon

Kind regards

Mel & JIll

Hi to all members of the San Pedro group.

My wife and I go out twice a year for 5/6 days in Lo Pagan and a week or so in Los Alcazares.

We usually eat in Domingo el Portuguese. Can anyone reccomend other good and

reasonably priced restaurants.Have used the restaurant attached to petrol station on

Av. del Porta and Pato locoon the main drag-av. generalissimo.

Usually stay at the Bahia Aparthotel.

Any advice welcome

Des

Hello,

Just wondered how you are doing and how you have settled in?  I'm thinking about making the same decisions as yourselves and moving out to San Pedro with a view to commuting back to London for a couple of weeks a month as I'm of a similar age to yourselves but need to continue to work.

Would be lovely to hear how things are going, whether good or could be better.  I'm coming out on Monday for a couple of days to view properties.

All the best

Debbie

We are co.ing out  beginning Aug but in rental till Feb when our house will be built.  So stressful selling and buying abroad but it will be worth it I keep telling myself.  We are building Santiago de la ribera about 7 mins from San Pedro.

Be nice to hear you are getting along Mel and jill and deb and Pete.  Did your builds complete on time
