Highly recommend Diego, Dicasa electricidad, He did ours for us back in 2019. We are a third floor flat with the meters on the ground floor so there was a lot of new cabling to do. He's very professional, very "can do" and has also put in an electric water heater, an air con unit and an electric cooker. The increased potentia job was 630 euros including IVA. This included dealing with Iberdrola to get the boletin. We increased to 5.75kw. Be aware that you will pay more every month on your electricity bill for the increased potencia

He does everything over whatsapp, his number is +34 676 99 70 08

Very confident this is because you have too lower potencia. My wife has a property services company & this happens regularly at many of her properties during the summer, as holiday renters have the AC on constantly, then put a pizza in the oven! Call Iberdrola (you can do this in English) and you’ll have to pay a charge for them to upgrade your potencia. Probably less than €100. 5.75kw should do in 99% of instances (the higher the potencia, the more you pay) I don’t think you you need an electrician, recommend trying this first, as some of the other posters have said..

You can have a view and proposal of your potencia via your customer area on the Iberdrola and I-DE website.

If you have a 'correct' installation you can upgrade your potencia via web. Go for 5,75.

All might be possible on-line, no technician needed.

That’d be perfect if we could do that, thank you so much 😊👍🏻

Hi Mark,

I you login to your client area on the Iberdrole website and click to adjust your potencia the site will provide you with a sum of the highest demand of the last year. Find attached a picture with what the Iberdrola site responded. I upped to 5,75 and no tripping again. No electrician needed.

Hope  this helps.

Cheers Peter
