Bought LHD car in ireland

Have you transferred the car into your name? If not you need the previous owners details (copy of NIE. Copy of passport and address.) Together with the permiso De circulacion and tarjeta de inspeccion and bill of sale.This will enable you to transfer it in Spain. Linea Directa in Spain insures a vehicle in UK without a time limit of bringing it over. I would think Ireland would be the same!! Once the car is in your name you can go to the tax office and pay the due tax.

I bought a Spanish car in the UK and had all the above so it was very easy to do.
