We're flying into Murcia international on Monday 13th September (Next Monday) and need to hire a car. Any recommendations as at the airport their asking an extortionate £1000+ for 13vdays. More than the holiday.
Also taxi from the airport to Isla Plana in case we can't get a car.
We'd really appreciate any help/suggestions
Car hire is more expensive this year as many companies cut back their fleets and they're trying to recover losses from 2020 and earlier this year.
However, try www.DoYouSpain.com and take the usual precautions of checking the car over, etc. - they appear to have cars from approx. €700 per week - although there are a limited number of car hire companies operating out of Corvera due to the vastly reduced number of flights.

Thank you we couldn't find anything online for less than €1000. We were over 6 weeks ago and paid €300. Madness!
We've can't justify the price hike so are just having a taxi to and from Isla Plana and will use the bus on this occasion ;-(
