Hi Alex and others, 

Thanks for getting back to me. My 24 year old son is hoping to live in Spain next year and I agreed to do a little research on his behalf. His work is all online so once he rents an apartment/room that has WiFi he should be good to go and theoretically could choose anywhere in Spain. He has a degree in Spanish and speaks it well. Part of the reason he would like to move is that he is a very accomplished footballer and is looking to join an amateur club in Spain. He also loves cricket so I thought that perhaps he could set up close to the La Manga cricket complex and join the cricket club there too. I was hoping for suggestions as to where he might live. I first thought of Los  Belones as it is very close to the cricket complex but I am not sure if it has a gym which he will need and from what I understand the bus service is very infrequent. He will be relying on public transport. Then I thought that it might be wiser to set up somewhere along the train line from Los Nietos Viejos to Castagena. Perhaps La Union or El Llano de Beal which I think has a football club called Deportivo Minero. Both would leave him situated very close to what he needs and even if there is not a gym close by the train line should be able to take him there. He hopes to move in early July. Is accommodation reasonable and easy to find? Maybe a small apartment, a house sharing arrangement or maybe a family might have a room to rent. Or maybe someone might have a better suggestion as to where exactly he could set up. Does El Llano de Beal have a train station? Thanks in advance for any advice you may be able to offer.

Can you tell me if there is a local taxi service from Mar De Cristal to Los Bolones and the cost please

We are looking at staying in the area for approximately one month in September 2022. My daughter will be with us and wondering what the possibilities are of her attending local school for a month to improve on her Spanish. Just wondering if any of the local schools facilitate this? Thank you

My apartment in Las Lomas village was managed by LMC. This is no more the case. How do I contact the water and lights companies to keep these utilities going? Sorry for the simple question. 

Hi everybody.  We are nearing completion on a new build in Mar de Cristal and need an electrician for second fix of the internal and external lights.  We also need to install a Toldo on the roof solarium, if anyone is able to recommend a company for this.  This is our first purchase in Spain and while we are very excited to be spending time in the area, we are very new to all this, so any help / advice is very gratefully received!

I am looking to replace the old internal doors and frames with new ones. Can anyone suggest a good person to do this at a sensible price? 

Would anyone recommend a pharmacy for a PCR test and know what it costs ?
