Is this true
It is true unless you are taking someone to say a hospital or some other genuine emergency. The person can't sit beside you in the car, they must sit behind you and in the opposite side ie. as far away as possible. Also you must have something to show it is a necessary requirement, like a letter from a doctor etc.The police are very polite and not at all aggressive or intimidating but they are firm about the regulations - they also have a sense of humour..

As of yesterday on the Spanish government website the lockdown has been extended to 26th April .
