Chickens

Hi Janet,   been researching on the internet about obtaining chucks in Spain. We're hopefully moving to Camposol area in near future. Lot's of info available, try Google 'rescue chickens Spain', threw up all kinds of forums etc in English.  One helpful post suggests visiting a local farm, they stocked up at 4 euro a chuck to start them off. Past experience with breeding farms seems to produce sickly hybrid laying machines that lay every day but die off in a year or two. I'm trying to locate nearby battery rescue organisations. These chucks seem to adapt readily once given a bit of freedom and TLC. Good luck....... Steve.
