I struggled with this on the Bankia online banking.

They have the most terrible website & that was one of the reasons I closed my account with them.

Apart from the ridiculous charges they were going to impose.

I'm with Bankia.  As Roland said,  they got most terrible website. Still couldn't figure out how to make payments online as nothing works!

Anyway, regarding an access: Bankia ,,reviewing" your account frequently. You might received an email or a message when login in to update personal data?

You ignoring this few times, as I did, because nothing has changed, however Bankia blocked my account.  You need proof your phone number, your passport,  your NI number - whatever they want you need to ,,proof". I know how silly it's sounds, but it's true. My wife and I had to change the passports , few months later accounts has been blocked, money couldn't been sent in to account.  Sent PDF of my new passport,  been told it's OK, Bankia app stopped working entirely.  Booked flight,  went there, they took a passport and said account is not updated! So done it again, got app sorted, the problem you need go in to branch in person, I'm not sure they know that email exists ( won't be surprised if they would prefer to use a WhatsApp for sensitive info...)

Try to find your branch email, contact phone and speak with them,  it's only thing to do I'm afraid.

Yes terrible website & email service is non existent.

I never got replies to any email I sent to Bankia even though I sent them in Spanish.

Dump them & move on like I did.

I emailed Elena at Bankia in Mazarron, which is our bank, and she replied to my husband providing a statement of monies that had gone in during 2019. She replied within a day.
