The problem you have trying to sell a towbar is that they have to be fitted by an authorised fitter and then checked by ITV centre , I know this because I wanted one recently on my car and had to have it done at main dealership

This is true, we looked into it as well, decided it wasn't worth it just for a bike carrier.
