Hi. A word of warning. Airport runs are illegal!

I'm not sure it's a simple as purchasing a licence. I've no personal experience of applying to be a taxi driver, but I would imagine it's quite a process in Spain, most things are. I know the Police keep an eye on all traffic at every airport, and nowadays use CCTV as well, to check if the same cars are regularly picking up or dropping off at airports.

I used to live in a 'Brit' community near to Alicante airport, and there were many Brits there who thought it smart to do airport runs for cash. Many of these also abused the law in not putting Spanish plates on their cars! You are not covered for insurance and if caught, as many were, the penalties are severe. The Spanish are also clamping down on the 'black economy', so is it really worth it?

I would suggest you have a word with the local Guardia and find out what the official taxi licence procedure is. Or maybe have a look on the 'Eye on Spain' website. There are some legal eagles on there who might be able to help you. Good luck anyway.
