Hi I am planning to move to Composol with my wife to buy a property to live permanently.I would appreciate any advice on buying and will be looking at April 2021 when I will take early retirement then will need rental accommodation while I view a villa to buy.

You have made the right decision as far as renting a property before you buy....if you get in contact with the various estate agents on Camposol I am sure they will help you out .. something else you need to take it to consideration is private health care ...as a early retired under UK retirement age you will need to have private health care that covers yourself and your partner the cost varies and is around €130 per person per month ...after the first year in Spain you can go on the Spanish NHS system for €80 per person per month.. good luck enjoy.

What ever price you agree to pay for your property...add 10% on top for legal fees and purchase tax...do not pay the estate agents a buying fee only the sellers pay fees.
