Police clearance certificate

Hi, can anyone please direct me to the correct area I need to be.
For my residency I need a police clearance certificate. I think that is what it is called. I need this for residency and I have found loads of sites online but they are all advertising different certificates. Some are dbs, cbs or 5year certificate.
Please can someone advise me on what I need and where best to get the required paperwork.
