Solar panels installation

Afternoon all

I see that solar panels are starting to spring up all around us.  The solar panel farm being built at the back of A sector looks like it will quite a big installation, and the one down by Bolnuevo seems to be progressing well.

Has anyone installed panels on their houses either to feed into Iberdola or to run directly as their main power source.  I did look at it quite a few years ago but any generation payments were taxable at that time so it didn't really pay.  Has anything changed?
