How good is La Manga Club now ...and is it fully open?
I am getting mixed reports from my Spanish friends who say that its very much past its best
Any views?

I am not an owner at LMC but I have visited twice over the past two years. It looks fine to me! Apart from La Zagaleta I am not sure there is anything comparable in Spain. Quinta da Lago/Val de Lobo in Portugal is not dissimilar though I prefer LMC.
