Anyone know car hire firms that don’t take deposits?
Most companies ask for smaller or nil deposits if you take out their top (expensive) insurance policies.
If you don't take these, then the deposit is to protect the car hire company in case you damage the car and then refuse to or can't pay for the damage.

Yes, I do know why they do it but they never used to and they don’t all do it now. But thank you.
